The TaperCath™ polyurethane catheters represent a new concept in catheter design. The catheter is designed to over-come problems associated with other long term catheters. The benefits of this technology are maximized fluid dynamics, kink resistance, and a very smooth surface. The taper of the catheter allows for the use of a universal port connector pin, which will allow the researcher more flexibility before and during surgery. The proximal end of the catheter has maximum wall thickness to decrease the likelihood of kinking, while the distal end is an atraumatic thin wall with a polished tip. We have over 29 years of custom catheter development and have created catheters for almost all applications and species.
