Infusion systems
Complete setups rather than parts lists. Each system is designed backwards from the problems in existing technology: disconnect, dead space, pump weight, accuracy, and exit-site maintenance.

MagnaPort Micro
The unbuttoned skin button. A magnetic connection instead of a permanent percutaneous fixture.

FastTether 2 and Micro
Modular tethered rodent infusion. Replace the failed component, not the entire harness.

Systems by species
Rabbit, canine, swine and primate. Tethered and ambulatory configurations, built as one system.
Large animal · both modesNot sure which fits? talk to an engineer or a surgeon before you write the protocol, or see what actually ends studies.
Stock items generally leave within five business days, custom builds in about two weeks.
MagnaPort Micro
The skin button, unbuttoned. The port itself is fully implanted. Access is through a magnetic transcutaneous connection needle that seats and holds itself, so you get the convenience of a skin button without a permanent skin penetration to maintain. That removes the exit-site care, the granulation and the track infections that make skin buttons expensive over a long study.
Conventional luer connections upstream of the animal mean it drops into the infusion equipment you already run.

FastTether 2 and FastTether Micro
A modular catheter connector housing that works with traditional jackets, harnesses, luer-based systems, ports, standard tether lines, or dual channel, all in one device. Disposable luer fittings, needleless valves, positive pressure valves and injection caps mean a contaminated connection gets replaced, not the whole harness.
| Configuration | Swivel | Tether line | Connector | Harness / jacket | Part no. |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FastTether 2 Kit 1 | Dual luer, universal collar | 12″ stainless co-extruded male/male | Needleless 22 ga CoilConnect | Harness adapter and bands | FT2K-H01 |
| FastTether 2 Kit 2 | Dual luer, universal collar | 12″ stainless co-extruded male/male | Needleless 22 ga CoilConnect | Harness adapter and bands | FT2K-H02 |
| FastTether 2 Kit 3 | Dual luer, universal collar | 12″ stainless co-extruded male/male | Needleless 22 ga CoilConnect | Jacket adapter and small jacket | FT2K-J01 |
| FastTether Micro (mouse) | n/a | 8″ stainless / PE / PC | 21 ga | 9 mm H, 10 × 10 mm, approx 1.0 g | FTM / FTMTL |
Species systems
Each system pairs a Cath-In-Cath 2 port, a matched catheter, an infusion set, a pump and a jacket or tether. Configurations below are starting points; every one is adjusted to the protocol.
| Species | Mode | Port | Infusion pump | Jacket / tether (recommended) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Primate | Ambulatory | CIC2 ultra low, 4-6 Fr | Ambulatory syringe pump, specified to protocol | Primate jacket (recommended) |
| Primate | Tethered | CIC2, 4-6 Fr | 6000 multi-therapy AB-6000 | LA tether, 18 ga swivel |
| Canine | Ambulatory | CIC2 port system | 6000 AB-6000 / SY pump | Canine jacket (recommended) |
| Canine | Tethered | CIC2, 6 Fr | 6000 AB-6000 | Large animal tether, 18 ga swivel |
| Swine | Ambulatory | CIC2, 6 Fr | 6000 AB-6000, LG and SM pumps | Swine jacket (recommended) |
| Swine | Tethered | CIC2, 6 Fr | 6000 AB-6000 | Large animal tether, 18 ga swivel |
| Rabbit | Ambulatory | CIC2, 4-6 Fr | Ambulatory syringe pump, specified to protocol | Rabbit jacket (recommended) |
| Rat | Tethered | CIC2 / MagnaPort | ST DL dual syringe | FastTether 2 |
| Mouse | Tethered | MagnaPort Micro | Ambulatory syringe pump | FastTether Micro |
The CURLIN 8000 is available in place of the 6000 wherever the protocol needs higher maximum flow or DERS programming. Ambulatory systems have been built for species as small as 1 kg, including marmosets, Dutch Belted rabbits and African Greens, and for piglet infusion.
